Canes Throw Devils a Beating 3-2
    In a pathetic display of hockey, the New Jersey Devils were thoroughly dominated by the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night, April 20, 2001.   The final score was 3-2, however, the Canes controlled the game, right from the start.   Carolina never trailed in the game, even though they were outshot 39-14.   The Devils second goal came with only 19 seconds left in the third period.
