The New Jersey Devils shutout the Penguins, 2-0, in Pittsburgh
on Saturday, December 27, 2003. The shutout was the first of the season
for Corey Schwab, and the sixth of his career.

Brian Gionta assisted on Pandolfo's eighth goal of the season.

There was no scoring in the second period -- the Penguins outshot
the Devils 8-6 in the period.
Jeff Friesen recorded his 8th goal of the season at 9:48 of the
third period on the power-play to give the Devils a 2-0 lead. Erik
Rasmussen and Patrik Elias assisted on Friesen's eighth goal of the

The Devils outshot the Pens 12-5 in the third period and 28-21 in the
