March 08, 2004 Practice at South Mountain Arena - March 8
I arrived at practice a little late on Monday, March 8, 2004 -
however, there are a few things I noticed worth mentioning.. Viktor
Kozlov, Brian Gionta, and Igor Larionov were at not on the ice with the
team.
Here are a few of my pictures from the
practice.
Brian Gionta was likely still resting after being struck in the
face (which required 50 stitches) on Friday, March 5, 2004 when the Devils
played the Lightning in Tampa Bay.
Viktor Kozlov, though he begun skating on Saturday, may still not
be well enough to skate when the Devils face the Flyers at home on Tuesday,
March 9, 2004.
Igor Larionov told the press that he would be willing to waive
his no-trade clause - if the right team had interest in him. I suspect
he will be moved before the deadline (March 9) - and I'd guess he'll head to
Detroit to finish his career for a draft pick.
