Grant Marshall Suffers Broken Hand

    The New Jersey Devils confirmed today, that Grant Marshall will be out of the Devils lineup for up to four weeks with a broken right hand.   He is expected to miss at least the first round of the playoffs.

    The cause of the injury was a fight with Islander Eric Cairns in the first period of the Devils 3-2 victory over New York on Sunday, March 28, 2004.

    Marshall joins a number of sidelined Devils.. Scott Stevens (concussion), Brian Rafalski (leg), and Corey Schwab (groin) are all already missing from the Devils lineup.
