July 15, 2004 Devils Bring Back Oliwa
The New Jersey Devils added additional toughness to their roster,
by signing a familiar name. On Thursday, July 15, 2004, Lou Lamoriello
announced the return of left wing, Krzysztof Oliwa.
The 31-year-old was drafted by the Devils and played for New
Jersey until winning the Stanley Cup with the team in 2000. In the next
four seasons he played for the Blue Jackets, Penguins, Rangers, Bruins, and
Flames.
