The New Jersey Devils defeated the Vancouver Canucks, 3-0 at home
on Friday, January 13, 2006. The shutout was Martin Brodeur's third of
the season (78th of his career). The win increased the Devils winning
streak to 5 games.
The first period ended with the game scoreless. The
Cancucks outshot the Devils 13-11 in the period.

Gionta's second goal of the game.
