November 22, 2006 Game 20: Devils Lose to Coyotes 1-3
The New Jersey Devils were beatng 3-1 in Phoenix by the Coyotes
on Wednesday, November 22, 2006.
Derek Morris beat Martin Brodeur at 13:17 of the first period to
give the Coyotes a 1-0 lead.
The Coyotes outshot the Devils 11-4 in the first period, which
ended with Phoenix leading 1-0.
John Madden beat Curtis Joseph 1:58 into the second period to tie
the game, 1-1. Sergei Brylin assisted on Madden's third goal of the
season.
Dave Scatchard put the puck past Brodeur at 4:30 to regain the
lead for Phoenix. Owen Nolan made it a 3-1 Yotes lead with a
short-handed goal at 10:38.
Phoenix outshot the Devils 10-6 in the second period.
There was no scoring in the third period. The Coyotes
outshot the Devisl 6-5 in the third period and 27-15 in the game.
