November 27, 2006 Game 23: Devils Lose In Shootout To Kings 2-3
The New Jersey Devils are skating in Los Angeles against the Kings

The Devils outshot the Kings 7-6 in the first period, which
ended 0-0.
Brian Gionta beat Mathieu Garon just 16 seconds into the second
period on a power-play to give the Devils a 1-0 lead. Scott Gomez and
Patrik Elias assisted on Gionta's 10th goal of the season.
Dustin Brown tied the game 1-1, when he scored on Martin Brodeur
at 5:07.
Travis Zajac scored at 13:56 on a power-play to give New Jersey
a 2-1 lead. Brian Rafalski and Patrik Elias assisted on Zajac's fifth
goal of the season.
Michael Cammalleri tied the game on a power-play at 17:56.
The Kings outshot the Devils 13-6 in the second period.
The Devils outshot the Kings 8-7 in the third period, but neither
team could score a goal.
