Game 29: Devils Streak Ends at 9: 0-1 OT Loss To Rangers

    The New Jersey Devils lost 0-1 in overtime to the Rangers in New York on Sunday, December 9, 2007.

    The Rangers outshot the Devils 12-4 in the first period, but neither team could score a goal.

    After 40 minutes, the game remained scoreless.   The Devils outshot the Rangers 9-7 in the second period.

    Regulation time ended with the game tied, 0-0.   Brendan Shanahan scored 30 seconds into overtime to win the game for New York.
