Game 81: Devils Lose 0-3 to Flyers in Philadelphia

    The New Jersey Devils lost 0-3 in Philadelphia to the Flyers on Friday, April 4, 2008.

    R.J. Umberger was credited with a goal that beat Martin Brodeur at 5:44 of the first period to give Philadelphia a 1-0 lead.

    The Flyers outshot the Devils 14-6 in the first period, which ended with the Flyers leading 1-0.

    The Flyers outshot the Devils 17-6 in the second period, but the score remained 1-0 Philadelphia.

    Scottie Upshall made it 2-0 Flyers with a goal at 11:16 of the third period.   Joffrey Lupul increased the Flyers lead with a goal that beat Brodeur just 37 seconds later.
