The New Jersey Devils lost 1-5 to the Blackhawks in Chicago on

first period. Ben Eager's backhand shot at 16:29 gave the Blackhawks a
two goal lead.
The Blackhawks outshot the Devils 14-9 in the first period, which
ended with Chicago leading 2-0.
Andrew Ladd scored at 2:12 of the second period to make it 3-0
Chicago.
The Blackhawks outshot the Devils 15-13 in the second
period.
Jonathan Toews scored at 4:41 of the third period.
Ex-Devils John Madden beat Brodeur at 15:11 to make it a 5-0 Blackhawk
lead.
Jamie Langenbrunner ruined Cristobal Huet's shutout bid with a
goal at 18:27. Langenbrunner's 10th goal of the season was scored
unassisted.
