Game 51: Devils Lose 0-3 to Senators

    The New Jersey Devils lost 0-3 in Ottawa to the Senators on Tuesday, January 26, 2010.

    Alexei Kovalev beat Martin Brodeur at 9:12 of the first period to give the Senators a 1-0 lead.   Milan Michalek made it 2-0 with a goal at 18:42.

    The shots were tied, 6-6 at the end of the first period - but the Senators led 2-0 after 20 minutes of play.

    Jason Spezza scored at 15:47 of the second period to increase the Ottawa lead to three goals.

    The Devils outshot the Senators 10-6 in the second period, which ended with Ottawa leading 3-0.
