November 20, 2010 Game 20: Blues Beat Devils 3-2
The New Jersey Devils lost 2-3 to the Blues in St. Louis on
Saturday, November 20, 2010.
David Clarkson got the Devils on the board early with a goal that
beat Jaroslav Halak just 26 seconds into the game. Brian Rolston was
credited with the only assist on Clarkson's third goal of the season.
The Blues' Alex Pietrangelo was credited with a goal after the
nearest referee swallowed his whistle. What was thought to be a frozen
puck was repeatedly jabbed at until it was in the back of the Devils
net.
The Devils outshot the Blues 13-7 in the first period, which
ended with the teams tied, 1-1.
Mattias Tedenby gave the Devils a 2-1 lead with a beautiful
backhand shot at 9:53 of the second period. Tedenby's second goal of the
season was assisted by Patrik Elias.
