December 10, 2010 Game 28: Senators Beat Devils 3-2
The New Jersey Devils lost 2-3 to the Senators in Ottawa
on Friday, December 10, 2010.
Erik Karlsson beat Martin Brodeur at 15:30 of the first period
to give Ottawa a 1-0 lead.
The Senators outshot the Devils 13-7 in the first period, which
ended with Ottawa leading 1-0.
Patrik Elias scored on a power-play at 4:46 of the second period
to tie the game, 1-1. Ilya Kovalchuk and Martin Brodeur were credited
with assistes on Elias' fifth goal of the season.
Milaln Michalek scored at 9:39 and Karkko Ruutu scored at 11:55
to give Ottawa a 3-1 lead.
Dainius Zubrus beat Pascal Leclaire at 14:10 to get the Devils
back within a goal. Zubrus' fourth goal of the season was assisted by
Travis Zajac and Ilya Kovalchuk.
The Devils outshot the Senators 13-6 in the second period, which
ended with the Senators leading 3-2.
