Game 15: Devils Beat Caps 3-2 in Shootout

    The New Jersey Devils defeated the Capitals 3-2 in Washington in a shootout on Saturday, November 12, 2011.

    The Capitals took a 1-0 lead when Troy Brouwer beat Johan Hedberg at 6:30 of the first period.   Jason Chimera scored at 16:10 to make it 2-0.

    Petr Sykora got the Devils on the board with a goal at 12:18 of the second period.   Dainius Zubrus and Patrik Elias assisted on Sykora's third goal of the season.

    Ryan Carter scored his first goal as a Devil at 18:54 of the second period to tie the game, 2-2.   Bryce Salvador was credited with the only assist on the goal.
