Game 39: Bruins Embarrass Devils, 6-1

    The New Jersey Devils were humiliated 1-6 at home by the Boston Bruins on Wednesday, January 4, 2011.

    The Devils struck first when David Clarkson beat Tim Thomas at 4:24 of the first period on a power-play.   His 15th goal of the season was assisted by Zach Parise.

    The Devils lead was short-lived, as the Bruins scored six unanswered goals on Martin Brodeur to win the game for Boston.
