Game 44: Devils Defeat Jets 2-1

    The New Jersey Devils defeated the Jets 2-1 in Winnipeg on Saturday, January 14, 2012.

    Andrew Ladd beat Martin Brodeur at 18:31 of the first period to give the Jets a 1-0 lead.

    Kurtis Foster scored his first goal as a Devil (second goal of the season) at 9:45 of the third period, to tie the game.   Dainius Zubrus was credited with the only assist on the goal.

    Patrik Elias beat Ondrej Pavelec at 12:43, tipping Adam Larsson's shot in to give the Devils their first lead of the game.   Petr Sykora also assisted on the goal - giving Sykora 700 career NHL points.
