Game 46: Devils Blow 1-0 3rd Period Lead, Bruins Win 4-1

    The New Jersey Devils were defeated 4-1 at home by the Boston Bruins on Thursday, January 19, 2012.

    Petr Sykora got the Devils on the board with a goal that beat Tim Thomas at 18:29 of the first period.   Sykora's 12th goal of the season was assisted by Dainius Zubrus and Patrik Elias.

    Andrew Ference tied the game when he beat Martin Brodeur at 3:01 of the third period.   Nathan Horton scored at 7:10 on a power-play and Gregory Campbell made it 3-1 with a goal just 35 seconds later.   Chris Kelly scored an empty net goal at 19:13 to make it 4-1.
