Game 68: Part 3 of 3: Devils BEAT Islanders: 2-1

    The New Jersey Devils skated to a 2-1 victory over the Islanders on Long Island on Saturday, March 10, 2012.

    John Tavares beat Johan Hedberg at 6:46 of the third period to give the Islanders a 1-0 lead.

    David Clarkson beat Anders Nilsson at 18:21 to tie the game.   Clarkson's 28th goal of the season was assisted Jacob Josefson and Alexei Ponikarovsky.

    14 seconds after Clarkson's goal, Marek Zidlicky scored his first goal as a Devil to give the Devils their first lead of the game.   Zidlicky's gmae-winning goal was assisted by Ilya Kovalchuk and Zach Parise.
