Game 71: Brodeur & Devils Beat Avalanche in 1-0 Shootout

    The New Jersey Devils were victorious, 1-0 over the Colorado Avalanche in a 1-0 shootout on Thursday, March 15, 2012.   The win gives Martin Brodeur 100 more career wins than than anyone in NHL history.

    Ilya Kovalchuk and Zach Parise beat Jean-Sebastien Giguere, while Martin Brodeur stopped both shots he faced in the shootout.   The shutout was the second of the season for Brodeur.
