February 03, 2013 Game 8: Moose & Devils Shutout Islanders 3-0
The New Jersey Devils skated to a 3-0 victory over the Islanders
in New York on Sunday, February 3, 2013.
Steve Bernier broke a scoreless tie late in the third period,
when he beat Evgeni Nabokov on a power-play at 16:06. Adam Henrique and
Andy Greene assisted on Bernier's second goal of the season.
Bernier added an even strength goal just 76 seconds later to make
it 2-0 Devils. Ryan Carter and Stephen Gionta assisted on the
goal.
David Clarkson added an empty-net goal with 22 seconds remaining
to finish off the Isles. Andy Greene was credited with the only assist
on Clarkson's fifth goal of the season.
