February 05, 2013 Game 9: Devils Beat Rangers 3-1
The New Jersey Devils skated to a 3-1 home victory over the New
York Rangers on Tuesday, February 5, 2013.
Number 14, (otherwise known as "They Score! Adam Henrique! It's
OVER!"), got the Devils on the board first when he beat Hanky Lundqvist at the
5:00 mark of the first period. Henrique's second goal of the seson was
assisted by Patrik Elias and David Clarkson.
David Clarkson made it 2-0 Devils with a goal at 19:07.
Stephen Gionta and Patrik Elias assisted on Clarkson's sixth goal of the
season.
Clarkson added a power-play goal at 2:53 of the third period to
make it a 3-0 Devils lead. Clarkson's second goal of the game was
assisted by Andy Greene and Patrik Elias.
Chris Kreider ruined Martin Brodeur's shutout bid with a goal at
6:28.
