The New Jersey Devils lost 1-3 to the Jets in Winnipeg on
Thursday, February 28, 2013.
Andrew Ladd beat Johan Hedberg just 8 seconds into the first
period to give the Jets a 1-0 lead. 8 seconds is a new franchise record
for quickest time giving up a goal.
Andrei Loktionov put the puck past Ondrej Pavelec at 3:05 of the
second period to tie the game, 1-1. Alexei Ponikarovsky and Henrik
Tallinder assisted on Loktionov's second goal of the season.
Andrew Ladd scored his second goal of the game at 11:59 of the
third period and Blake Wheeler added an empty-net goal at 19:24 to seal the
Jets victory.
