The New Jersey Devils shocked the home crowd at the Prudential
Center with a trade announcement at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft on Sunday, June
30, 2013. In exchange for the Devils first round pick (ninth overall),
the devils acquired goaltender Cory Schneider from the Vancouver
Canucks.
