Bouchard of the Wild beat Brodeur at 7:04 on the power-play to cut the Devils lead to one goal.

The second period ended with the Devils leading Minnesota 2-1.   The shots were 9-9 in the period.

Jamie Langenbrunner gave the Devils a 2 goal lead again, at 11:21 of the third period.   Brian Rafalski and Joe Nieuwendyk assisted on Langenbrunner's 15th goal of the season.
