Igor Larionov Retires

    Igor Larionov announced his retirement from the NHL on Monday, April 19, 2004.   Larionov was the oldest player (43) to see action in the 2003-2004 season.

    Larionov signed with the Devils as a free agent in the off-season with the hope of picking up a fourth Stanley Cup ring.   Just two days after the Devils were eliminated from the playoffs, the veteran announced that it was his last season.
