Game 35: Thrashers Beat Devils 1-0

    The New Jersey Devils were defeated 1-0 at home by the Atlanta Thrashers on Friday, December 23, 2005.

    There were no goals scored in the first period, in which the Devils outshot the Thrashers 14-8.

    Marian Hossa beat Martin Brodeur on a power-play at 9:03 of the second period to give Atlanta a 1-0 lead.

    The second period ended with the Thrashers leading, 1-0.   The Devils outshot the Thrashers 10-7 in the period.

    There was no scoring in the third period, the game ended with Altanta shutting out the Devils, 1-0.
