The New Jersey Devils defeated the Rangers, 4-2 in New York on
Saturday, April 29, 2006 for Game 4 of the first round of the Stanley Cup
Playoffs. The win completed the sweep, in which the Rangers led for a

13:21 to make it a 4-1 Devils lead. Sergei Brylin and Paul Martin
assisted on Elias' second goal of the game.
Steve Ruccin gave the Rangers a 6 on 4 power-play (Ranger empty
net) goal with just 1:27 remaining in the third period.
