R2 Game 3: Devils Fall To Senators 0-2

    The New Jersey Devils lost 0-2 to the Senators in Ottawa for Game 3 of Round 2 of the 2007 Stanley Cup Playoffs on Monday, April 30, 2007.

    The Senators outshot the Devils 11-7 in the first period, in which neither team was able to score.

    There was no scoring in the second period, in which the shots were even, 9-9.

    Tom Preissing beat Martin Brodeur at 4:46 of the third period to give the Senators a 1-0 lead.

    Jason Spezza scored an empty net goal with 56 seconds remaining in regulation time to seal the Senators win.

    The Senators outshot the Devils 14-9 in the third period and 34-25 in the game.
