Game 58: Devils Fall 0-4 in Florida

    The New Jersey Devils lost 0-4 in Florida to the Panthers on Tuesday, February 17, 2009.

    Stephen Weiss beat Scott Clemmensen at 4:18 of the first period to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead.

    The Devils outshot the Panthers 13-8 in the first period, though trailed 0-1 on the scoreboard after 20 minutes of play.

    Richard Zednik scored a power-play goal to give Florida a two goal lead.   Nathan Horton made it 3-0 with a goal at 14:05.

    The Devils outshot the Panthers 13-12 in the second period, which ended with Florida leading 3-0.

    Cory Stillman scored at 17:08 of the third period.
