November 05, 2011 Game 12: Devils Finish Jets in OT: 3-2
The New Jersey Devils defeated the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 in overtime
at the Prudential Center on Saturday, November 5, 2011.
Patrik Elias beat Ondrej Pavelec at 4:08 of the second period to
give the Devils a 1-0 lead. Dainius Zubrus and Bryce Salvador assisted
on Elias' sixth goal of the season.
Adam Henrique made it 2-0 Devils with a goal at 12:59.
Zach Parise assisted on Henrique's second goal of the season.
Make Flood scored on Martin Brodeur at 6:43 of the third period
to get the Jets on the board. Jim Slater tied the game with a goal at
17:15.
Regulation time ended with the teams tied, 2-2. Adam
Henrique scored his second goal of the game on a breakaway at 1:28 of overtime
to win the game for New Jersey. Zach Parise and Adam Larsson assisted on
the goal.
